After years of traveling overseas and experiencing wine bars in Europe, 15 year Phinney Ridge residents, Julie and Andrew Goldstein, decided to bring this casual and fun experience to their neighborhood. Chez Phinney is the wine bar that has brought the self-serve concept to an entirely new level with a wine bar and tasting room inspired by European bars.
Chez Phinney is a self-serve establishment offering 24 unique wines by the ounce served from three WineEmotion Otto models, 8-bottle systems. You can select from three different pour sizes: a one-ounce sip, three-ounce taste, or five-ounce glass.
This modern approach offers wine explorers, passionate oenophiles, and new lovers of wine alike the ability to sample a variety or try more rare wines instead of committing to a single label. Chez Phinney will focus on smaller Pacific Northwest wineries as well as Old World mainstays. They also offer four local beers on draft with a small menu of tidbits to cleanse the palette.
The elegant design of the WineEmotion wine wall also accompanies industry leading features and capabilities: 30 days advanced preservation of opened bottles, temperature control for red, white and rosé wines, and customer self-dispensing capabilities. The WineEmotion wine wall provides the fun and entertaining experience the founders envisioned in a comfortable and warm space.
Going here wouldn’t be a pour decision.
